Honoring Dr. Anil D'Cruz – Champion of Cancer Care Equity and Surgical Oncology | #iodcpc25 Tribute
Dr. Anil D’Cruz is a pioneer in head and neck surgical oncology, a global leader in cancer care equity, and an esteemed mentor to generations of surgeons and oncologists. His work has not only influenced clinical practice in India, but also shaped global cancer care guidelines and policy.
Currently the Director of Oncology at Apollo Hospitals, Dr. D’Cruz has served as President of both the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO), India, and the Asian Society of Head and Neck Oncology (ASHNO). He has chaired numerous national and international boards, and remains a key figure in ICMR policy and oncology education.
A recipient of prestigious orations, fellowships, and international honors — including the FRCS (Hon) from the Royal College of Surgeons, London — Dr. D’Cruz is also a widely respected author and editor in surgical oncology literature.
