What Is It? The Oral Pathology 360 Open Mic Competition is a unique platform for emerging talents in oral pathology| Oral Medicine| Oral Radiology and related fields. It’s a chance to showcase knowledge, share insights, and network with peers and leaders in the field.

Who Can Participate? Early to mid-career academics, researchers, and professionals in related dental and medical fields.

How Does It Work?

  • Register to ensure your place: Complete our online registration (Fees- International USD 8/ India INR 475)
  • Submit Your Entry: submit your details and presentation summary
  • Get Shortlisted: Entries will be reviewed by our expert panel.
  • Perform Live: Shortlisted candidates will present live on our YouTube channel.
  • Audience Votes: Viewers will vote for their favorite presentations.

Dual Winners, Global Reach: Two live events will be held to accommodate different time zones, selecting one winner from each event. Winners will be guest speakers at the International Oral Diseases Case Presentation Conference 2024 and will be exempted from registration fees.

Topics:
Participants must choose one of the following topics for their presentation:

  1. The Impact of Digital Technologies on Oral- Pathology/ medicine /radiology.
  2. Oral Microbiome and Its Role in Systemic Health
  3. The Role of Nutrition in Oral Health and Disease Prevention
  4. The IARC states that there is no safe limit for Alcohol consumption.

Eligibility:

  • Open to early and mid-career professionals (less than 15 years of experience) in oral and maxillofacial and head and neck diagnostics and related fields.
  • Participants must be prepared to present in English
  • Registration is required

How to Register:

  1. Pay the Registration Fee of INR 475 for Indian participants and USD 8 for international participants.
  2. Fill Out the form and submit your abstract.

Submission Requirements:

  • Submit an abstract or summary of your presentation, not exceeding 200 words. This should include your presentation’s main points, objectives, and significance.
  • Personal and professional details are required in the registration form.

Presentation Format:

  • Each presentation should be no longer than 5 minutes.
  • Presentations can include a PowerPoint or similar visual aid.
  • All presentations must be original compilations of the presenter.
  • Presentations have to be in English.

Selection Criteria:

  • Relevance to the chosen topic.
  • Clarity and organization of the presentation.
  • Originality and depth of content.
  • Engagement and communication skills.

Voting Process:

  • The audience will vote for their favorite presentations through an online poll.
  • Voting will be open for 30 minutes after each live event.

General Rules:

  • Participants must adhere to the time limit; exceeding the time limit may result in disqualification.
  • The decision of the audience vote is final.
  • All participants agree to have their presentations streamed live and recorded for future viewing.

Last Date for Registration: Registration for each event will close on the last day of abstract submission for that event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • After completing the payment through the links, you will receive a link on the payment platform and email that will take you to the Google form to submit your details and the abstract.
  • The live contest will be held on Zoom. Selected participants will receive a registration link via email upon successful selection.
  • After registering with Zoom, you will receive your link and instructions on how to attend the event after one working day. If you do not receive the mail or have any other issues, please mail us at info@oralpathology360.com
  • Please note you can join the Zoom event from a single device.
  • Participation certificates will be issued to all participants.
  • The viewers who will vote for the winner will watch the event on YouTube’s livestream.
