Dr. Prasad Harikrishnan is a Professor at the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, Tiruchengodestand, at the forefront of oral health education and research with over 16 years of academic experience. Currently deepening his expertise as a Ph.D. research scholar, Dr. Harikrishnan has significantly contributed to the field through his authorship of ‘Atlas of Oral Histology,’ a pivotal companion book to the esteemed Orban’s Textbook of Oral Histology, Embryology, and Physiology. He further enriches the academic community by contributing chapters to Orban’s Textbook, showcasing his depth of knowledge and commitment to advancing oral health sciences. Known for his passion for small group teaching, Dr. Harikrishnan thrives on the interactive exchange of ideas, fostering an environment of engagement and learning.
