Dr. Zubair W. Baloch is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also serves as Director of the Surgical Pathology Fellowship and the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Training Program. A distinguished surgical pathologist, Dr. Baloch specializes in endocrine and head and neck pathology and is internationally recognized for his contributions to thyroid cytopathology. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, numerous book chapters, and is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences. Dr. Baloch has served in various leadership roles, including Chair of the CAP Cancer Committee Endocrine Pathology Group and President of the American Association of Endocrine Pathologists, and is the recipient of multiple teaching and service awards.
