Dr Divya Gopinath is currently working as an assistant professor in the basic medical and dental sciences division at the College of Dentistry, Ajman University. She obtained her bachelor’s in Dentistry and a Master’s degree in Oral Pathology and Microbiology from the Government Dental Colleges of Kerala, India. Later, she was awarded a scholarship to pursue an MPhil in Molecular virology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong, followed by a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong. She has more than 12 years of academic/ research experience and has more than 70 peer-reviewed publications in Q1 and Q2 journals to her credit. Her research interests mainly focus on exploring the relationship between microorganisms and oral diseases and Evidence-based oral pathology/oral medicine.
