About the lecture:

The oral cavity exhibits a wide range of conditions, including red and white lesions, ulcerative and vesiculobullous disorders, gingival enlargements, and tongue abnormalities. Beyond addressing dental pathology such as caries, periodontal disease, and malocclusion, dental practitioners play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing these oral lesions.

This lecture will emphasize the importance of accurate clinical diagnosis as the foundation for effective treatment. Dr. Hemant Umarjee will outline key diagnostic approaches and management strategies, helping clinicians distinguish between routine and suspicious lesions. By enhancing diagnostic confidence, this session aims to prevent delays in critical cases while alleviating patient anxiety in benign conditions, ultimately improving patient care and treatment outcomes.
