About the Lecture:

Oral ulcerative lesions are the most common oral mucosal disease. Various treatment modalities exist to treat these lesions. However, in spite of newer medications, the major challenges in their management are preventing recurrence and sometimes preventing malignant transformation.

This presentation aims to discuss three major and common oral ulcerative lesions: Oral Lichen planus, Aphthous stomatitis, and Pemphigus vulgaris, which present treatment challenges to an oral physician.

The enigma of successfully treating these lesions will be presented with case reports supported by a thorough literature search.
