Dr. Tabita Joy Chettiankandy
Professor & Head, Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology
Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai
Dr. Tabita Joy Chettiankandy is Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology at the Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai. A graduate of CSMSS Dental College, Aurangabad, and a postgraduate of GDCH Aurangabad, she was the university topper in both BDS and MDS under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. With more than 105 publications in national and international journals, she has contributed extensively to the literature, including authorship in the Practical Handbook of Oral Pathology and a chapter on the histology of the temporomandibular joint in Springer Publications. Over her career, she has been a guide and co-guide to postgraduate and PhD students, and her research has been recognized through 16 copyrights and 2 patents in the field of oral pathology.
